Shenzhen is a coastal city in southern China. It is adjacent to Hong Kong and is a municipality under the jurisdiction of the Guangdong Province of China. It is located south of the Tropic of Cancer, between 113°43' and 114°38' east longitude and between 22°24' and 22°52' north latitude. It is located in the south of Guangdong Province, on the east bank of the Pearl River Estuary, east of Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay; west of the Pearl River Estuary and the Boyang Sea; south of the Shenzhen River is connected to Hong Kong; north is bordered by Dongguan and Huizhou. It has 9 administrative districts and 1 new district: Futian District, Luohu District, Yantian District, Nanshan District, Baoan District, Longgang District, Longhua District, Pingshan District, Guangming District and Dapeng New District.
The name of "Shenzhen" began to appear in the history of 1410 (Eighth year of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty), it was built in the early years of the Qing Dynasty. In local sayings, the ditch in the field is called "Zhen" or "Chong", so Shenzhen is named for its dense waters and a deep ditch at the edge of the village. Shenzhen has a history of more than 6,700 years of human activities (in the middle of the Neolithic era, there were indigenous peoples living in Shenzhen), more than 1,700 years of county history, more than 600 years of Nantou City history & Dapeng City history and more than 300 years of Hakka History of immigration.
Shenzhen's marine waters cover a total area of 1,145 square kilometers. Shenzhen's vast sea area connects the South China Sea and the Pacific Ocean. The coastline is 260 kilometers long. It has well-known beaches such as Dameisha, Xiaomeisha, Xichong and Diaoyusha. Dapeng Peninsula National Geological Park, Shenzhen Bay Mangrove Forest, Wutong Mountain Country Park, and Inner Lingding Island Natural ecological reserves.
Shenzhen has a total of 156 docks and berths in Nanshan and Yantian, and has developed shipping industry; there are 8 railway stations including Shenzhen Railway Station, Shenzhen North Railway Station and Shenzhen East Railway Station. The Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway passes through the city. Baoan Airport is an international hub airport. It operates 45 international routes and 4 Hong Kong-Macau and Taiwan routes. It is one of China's top ten airports and one of the world's top 100 airports. Shenzhen is a port city with the largest number of ports in China. Design of cultural creative derivative products in the collections of the eight major sea-related museums
With the national maritime power strategy and the “Belt and Road” construction vision, China’s sea-related museums (A variety of museums with distinctive elements including domestic maritime, water transport, boat, Maritime Silk Road , port, customs, ocean city, folk culture museums etc.) ushered in a new era of development. The organizing committee of the competition invited China's eight major sea-related museums to help with the competition with its collection of precious cultural relics that reflect the history and wisdom of the Chinese nation and the ocean, and hoped that the innovative generation will bring about new charm and the creative transformation of traditional marine culture with allows cultural heritage to enter the homes of ordinary people.
CHINA MARITIME MUSEUM
Requirements
The participating teams/individuals extract the cultural elements from the "Water and Land Attacking Warp Pot". The design works should fully reflect the cultural characteristics and connotation of it, with originality and uniqueness, autistics, design sense and its extension meaning. Design works could be, but are not limited to, stationery and toys, living household items, crafts, tourist souvenirs, prints, clothing, etc. The work should be cultural, functional, practical, creative, artistic and market-oriented, and can be transformed into products that can be produced and sold.
Introduction
Warring States, Water and Land Attacking Warp Pot: the early remnants of the Warring States period water and land attack ship copper pot, the pot body has appeared a double deck warship, the bottom of the body has a water and land battle pattern. The picture of the water battle on the copper pot depicts two warships that travel relative to each other. The shape is roughly the same, the hull is slender, and the head and tail are upturned. Different flags are set up at the bow. The warship has a deck, the warriors fight on the deck, and the paddler paddles in the cabin below the deck. Careful observation of the bottom of the warship revealed that there were two lines at the bottom of the two warships. Some experts believed that the added line was a wooden decking on the bottom of the ship. Because the paddlers use a standing position to paddle. In order to facilitate paddling, a plank is added on the keel and ribs of the bottom of the ship. The rituals of the Spring and Autumn Period in China, copper pot height: 35 cm, upper mouth diameter 12.5 cm, upper mouth diameter: 10.9 cm bottom foot diameter: 11.8 cm. The pot was fine casted, especially the surface. Paintings were used to reproduce the scenes of life and war scenes of the people at that time, which had high artistic and historical value.

Introduction
Feather people rowing pattern bronze plaque: Warring States, caliber 23.6cm, diameter 57cm, height 37.3cm, consists of a cover and a can. The bronze is an important material evidence for the exchange and influence of Chu culture, Baiyue culture and Bashu culture. Export Fans: China's export fans from the 18th to the 20th century. They are rich in materials, craftsmanship, beautiful in ornamentation and rich in color. They condense the exquisite craftsmanship of Chinese craftsmen and reproduce the aesthetic interest of Western society at that time. Let us appreciate the elegance and fashion of the export fans, and open a historical picture of the trade and culture between the East and the West in the 18th and 20th centuries, and the prosperity of the Maritime Silk Road. Fan ancient name is "翣 (shà)" "箑 (shà)", Chinese traditional crafts and works of art. According to the material, it can be divided into bamboo fan, feather fan, pupa fan, wheat fan, ivory fan, and so on. Among them, the type of fan made of silk is the largest in variety, and its artistic performance is also the most abundant. It is the favorite of the Chinese ruling class (court, gentry). The export feather-folding fan is a custom-made product according to the western style. Two-dragon Plays Opera Pearl Gold Bracelet:This utensil is out of the water from the Southern Song Dynasty Ship "Nanhai I", is the cultural relics of the overall salvage in 2007. At present, there are 180 pieces of golden ware unearthed from the ship. Among them, this gold bracelet is a wonderfully crafted and exquisite craftsmanship. It is an important material evidence on the South China Sea Maritime Silk Road and an important material for studying the goldsmith craft in the Song Dynasty. Introduction
Qing Dynasty "police cruise ship" silver three-masted sailing model:21 cm in length, 5.9 cm in width, 23.6 cm in height; weighs 313 grams. The silver sailing model raises three sails, the top of the sails hangs the flag, the front of the stern is engraved with the words " police cruise ship ", the front row with seven small cannons, the stern on both sides lay the arbors, forks, axes and other long weapons. There are three people on board, seven cannons are set up, five pairs of pulp are placed on both sides of the ship, and there are two anchors on the bow. The base of the ship is a wavy hollow wood carving.
FANGCHENGGANG MUSEUM

According to the overview of the Tanpeng Canal, the stone carvings, the images and their cultural connotations, the participating teams/individuals are required to fully reflect the history of the ancient Fangchenggang City participating in the Maritime Silk Road, and to make the canal culture vivid, interesting and artistic. The relics of the Maritime Silk Road should be materialized and brought closer to the public. Design works include, but are not limited to, household items, stationery, toys, crafts, prints, etc. The works should be cultural, functional, creative and market-oriented, and can be transformed into products that can be produced and sold.
Introduction
Tanpeng Canal and Stone Carvings: The Tanpeng Canal, which was excavated in the Tang Dynasty, is an important canal facility in the ancient Beibu Gulf area that travels to and from Annan. It is called “Tianweiyao” as it cuts Jiangshan Peninsula that extends into the sea into half and connects two bays. As a matter of fact, it was the only sea canal in ancient China. It is a precious relic of the ancient Fangchenggang area participating in the Maritime Silk Road and is of great value. Through archaeological excavation, our museum has discovered that there are 11 stone carvings on the stone wall of the Tanpeng Canal. Among them, "Tian Xia Tai Ping (means world peace)", "Hunan Jun Kai Liu Dao” (means Hunan Army opens six roads), "3rd Year of Yuanhe ", "9th year of Xiantong” and the Tang Dynasty characters are most representative.

Introduction
1) Copper wooden tail steering wheel on the Zhongshan Warship: size 123-123-9. This exhibit is the steering wheel of the Republic of China. The diameter is 123 cm and the thickness is 9 cm. The steering wheel is made of teak wood and is integrated with the whole rivet. The joints are covered with copper or copper strips. The overall preservation is complete. The steering wheel was discovered by workers in the rear cabin when the Zhongshan Warship was repaired in 1999. According to the data verification, the whole ship should have three rudders. It is only precious as it is the only steering wheel left. Now it is collected in Wuhan Zhongshan WarShip Museum.
