Introduction of the museum
The Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum is built for the excavation, protection, display and research of the ancient shipwreck of the Song Dynasty --“Nanhai I”. It is one of the key cultural projects in Guangdong Province. It has been rated as the National Second Class Museum and the National AAAAA level scenic area. The museum has been praised by the industry as one of the three famous shipwreck museums in the world.
"Nanhai I" is the earliest, largest and most intact shipwreck discovered in China. As of 2019, a total of 180,000 pieces of relics have been discovered. The archaeological achievements of "Nanhai I" have provided valuable archaeological material for research in the fields of shipbuilding history, ceramic history, shipping history and trade history.

Two-dragon Plays Opera Pearl Gold Bracelet: This utensil is out of the water from the Southern Song Dynasty Ship "Nanhai I", is the cultural relics of the overall salvage in 2007. At present, there are 180 pieces of golden ware unearthed from the ship. Among them, this gold bracelet is a wonderfully crafted and exquisite craftsmanship. It is an important material evidence on the South China Sea Maritime Silk Road and an important material for studying the goldsmith craft in the Song Dynasty. The dragon is a mythical animal in Chinese mythology. It has a tiger tail, a body like a snake, a scale like a fish, a horn-like a deer, a claw-like an eagle, which can walk and fly. It can be big or small, it can even be invisible. It is possible to turn the river over the sea, swallow the wind and spit the fog, and produce the rain. The dragon represents the yang in the yin and yang cosmology and is the totem of the Chinese nation. Dragon pattern is one of the traditional Chinese patterns. The generalized dragon pattern includes the combination of dragon and other patterns. Such as cloud dragon pattern, sea dragon pattern and so on.

1. The participating teams/individuals should design according to the elements of the given cultural relics and their decorations, the logo of the Guangdong Maritime Silk Road Museum, and the appearance.
2. The work to dig deep into the connotation, with originality, uniqueness, artistry, design sense and its extension meaning.
3. Design works could be, but are not limited to, stationery and toys, daily household items, handicrafts, tourist souvenirs, printed materials, and clothing.
4. The work should be cultural, functional, practical, creative, artistic and market-oriented, and can be transformed into products that can be produced and sold.
